My painting of a mermaid letting the sun kiss her face is dedicated to my special lady Gemmy, with love always. Gemmy is not only my girlfriend but also my inspiration for my mermaids hence they tend to be evocative and sensual just like her.
The tales of the sirens entrapping the unaware with their beauty and song is no lie. I'm caught, hooked and landed by my Dorset babe.

Sunkissed
Sea Princess
The sea lapping at her tail the princess of the sea gazes soulfully into her looking glass as she rests on a lonely rock. 'Sea Princess' is one of my many mermaid and aqua folk depictions, inspired by my many visits to Copenhagen, the home of the original story of the 'Little Mermaid' and her statue as she sits on a rock, and my love of the light fantastic.
